Puffin Portrait metal print by Ian Johnson. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Ian Johnson
I am a wildlife photographer and writer located in Fairbanks, Alaska. I grew up in rural Minnesota, completed my undergrad on the shores of Lake Superior, and moved to Maine for several years. I am currently seeking a graduate degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks in association with the Resilience and Adaptation Program, and have with a planned graduation date of December 2015. When not writing thesis or doing research, I spend a majority of my time in the field observing and photographing all types of natural phenomenon from bird breeding to the aurora borealis.
